The 2013 has a touch more Petit Verdot in the blend, resulting in lovely upfront fruit aromas and soft spice on the palate.

 

Spicy aromas of black pepper and mulberry mingle with the plum flavours of this soft and approachable wine.

 

MATURATION

 

Great now, and will improve for 4 years.

 

FOOD PAIRING

 

Particularly good with light and medium flavoured meals, such as pizza and braai.

Blend Shiraz: 37%, Petit Verdot: 25%, Cabernet Sauvignon: 23%, Merlot: 10%, Grenache 4%, Cabernet Franc: 1%
